Carnegie Mellon Converge Silicon Valley is on October 24, 2019!
The annual Carnegie Mellon University Converge Silicon Valley Career Fair is on Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. PST at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. The main event space will still house booths for companies to recruit and network with students for jobs and internship opportunities, similar to what you would see at a traditional career fair, and will also feature a few additional spaces to network with students and alumni.
Converge Mixer Space -- a
The Mixer Space will be open for happy hour during the entire Converge event and will provide an opportunity for students, company representatives, and CMU-SV staff/faculty to network and mingle in a more informal environment.
Converge Pitch Deck -- company/team pitches from 5:30-7:00pm:
Upon checking in, companies and teams will have an opportunity to sign up for a time slot to pitch their roles, teams, and company to students.
We are excited to bring our exceptionally bright Carnegie Mellon talent to companies in the Bay Area and beyond. Employer participants are asked to showcase technical positions as well as non-technical job and internship opportunities (i.e. analytics, marketing, human resources, management, design, and more) but the majority of our students will be interested in technical and product management roles. Students may be seeking full-time or summer internship opportunities, while alumni or recent graduates may be looking for new full-time opportunities. Employers are encouraged to bring information about a variety of career tracks and experience levels.
This event will draw 250+ students from graduate degree programs at the Carnegie Mellon Silicon Valley campus as well as students and graduates from the Pittsburgh campus, representing several majors and degree levels, including Bachelor's, Master's, MBA and Ph.D. Graduate students, including part-time MS Software Management students who may be working professionals, come from many different backgrounds and have a range of experience.
